Figtree Comprehensive High School is situated in a well established residential area south west of Wollongong. The school was established in 1969 but it did not move to its current site until 1970.
The school has developed close ties with its community and has a reputation for high academic and sporting achievement. Figtree High is committed to providing: Each student with the opportunity to achieve his/her potential; quality learning programs that encourage excellence, self discipline, individual development and independence; a comprehensive curriculum that caters for student needs; and a supportive and safe learning environment.
